Tropfest is the world's largest short film festival and also the first global film festival.
The Challenge
Tropfest was a great project to work on. I was responsible for creating a pixel perfect UI markup for all UI templates. All pages were integrated into WordPress and served information about the short film festival, news, and other content.
The Team
I was in charge of taking the designs to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and worked alongside a designer and a back-end developer.
The Solution
Due to the importance of the project, several testing was done in multiple browsers and devices. The project also included a landing page for other Tropfest festivals that happen all around the world.
The Technology
The backend was a Django-based setup. For this project, we didn't use a Node.js environment as the whole code was built directly into existing Django templates.
