# Paymark Website

Front-end development of Paymark's marketing website: new pages, an extended framework, and a cleanup for the move to SilverStripe CMS.

---

Paymark is New Zealand's payment network, a partner to over 80,000 local businesses.

## The brief

Paymark needed a facelift for its marketing site that combined custom design with a modular approach. Many pages have their own design for one of Paymark's core products. The site was moving to SilverStripe CMS, so it had to be cleaned up and restructured first.

## My role

I wasn't the site's original architect. Once I joined, I was the sole developer for many months, building new pages, maintaining the site and extending the framework from our design team's mockups.

## What I did

I rewrote some of the code for the migration, and simplified many components so they could be integrated into the CMS.

## How it was built

Our local setup ran on Grunt with Assemble and SASS. Components were built from partials, so no markup was duplicated in the code base.
