Paymark is New Zealand's payment network, a partner to over 80,000 local businesses.

## The brief

Paymark Insights was a new Paymark product, designed as a web app with a lot of functionality. It also had to be fast and modular, so new features could be rolled out without affecting the rest of the app.

It had to work well on mobile, tablet and desktop.

## My role

I joined a few months after the project started, as lead UI developer alongside a JavaScript developer. I spent about half my time at the client's offices and passed requirements back to our off-site team.

## How it was built

The UI was built on a custom internal SASS framework that runs with Gulp and Node.js. Flexbox drove the layout, and SASS mixins kept the code clean and scalable.
