Design, navigation, SEO, site performance and accessibility for the Health New Zealand site that brought more than 200 health websites together.

## The context

info.health.nz home page, March 2025 (Internet Archive).

Health information in New Zealand was spread across more than 200 older websites. info.health.nz brought it into one place for the public. The address now redirects to healthnz.govt.nz.

## My role

I was primarily a designer on the new site at Health New Zealand, and also worked on its navigation, search engine optimisation, performance and accessibility.

## What I worked on

- Design of the consolidated site

- Information architecture and navigation, bringing the content of the old sites together

- Search engine optimisation and metadata, so people could still find health information while the old sites were retired
