# About me

Miro Bzduch is Practice Lead, Findability at MBIE in Wellington, and was UX design lead at Health New Zealand. AI features in websites, search and information architecture.

---

I work on AI in websites and services, and on making information findable and useful, whether someone is searching a website, asking an AI assistant or using an internal knowledge tool.

Since November 2025 I've led the findability practice at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment: on-site search across its websites, how their content shows up in Google and AI assistants, and the information architecture under both.

Before that I was UX design lead at Health New Zealand. I started as a front-end developer more than 15 years ago, and I still build small AI applications, like the [AI assistant](https://miromiro.co.nz/#ask) on this site.

The areas I work in: [getting AI into everyday use](https://miromiro.co.nz/expertise/ai-strategy/), [implementing AI features](https://miromiro.co.nz/expertise/ai-implementation/), [smarter site search](https://miromiro.co.nz/expertise/ai-search/) and [showing up in AI answers](https://miromiro.co.nz/expertise/generative-engine-optimisation/). [Expertise](https://miromiro.co.nz/expertise/) has the work behind each one.
